1963 Chevy Convertible
When I think of ‘old cars’ my mind automatically brings up images of my 1963 Chevy Impala SS. It was the first car my wife and I owned and I gave it much TLC until some drunk crashed into it one night while it was parked in front of our house. So when I saw this car at the Jimmy Cone a week or so ago, it just naturally caught my eye. Mine was not a convertible but it was similarly equipped and I stood for quite a few minutes just reliving the past.
This was just one of the many beautiful cars that cruise through on cruise nights (1st and 3rd Saturdays of each month). A definite go-to spot on those warm summer nights. The car show is fun, the 50s music keeps your fingers snapping and the Jimmy Cone ice cream and shakes are to die for. Check it out.
